The author claims to have had - up to 1989 - the largest collection in the world of all different Cadillac scale models and toys. Many of these were commissioned by him to be built or modified to more closely ressemble known full-sized Cadillac cars or Cadillac-powered cars. The collection included scale replicas of many Cadillac concept vehicles, prototypes, show cars and unique custom models.
The first part of this listing describes the 750-odd pieces that comprised the full collection. The second part of the list includes models sought by the author to complete the collection, before adverse circumstances compelled him to part with it in 1989 (he was fortunate to find a buyer in Zurich, Switzerland, who has kept the collection intact and has continued to improve and expand on it).
The third part lists scale-models and toys known or believed to have been issued since 1989; many of these are known to currently grace the collection. The author is counting on toy collectors and users of "The Cadillac Database" to keep it up to date.
